Michigan Central OPEN
Ford Motor Company launched "Michigan Central OPEN," an 11-day public celebration marking the restoration of the historic train station's as the centerpiece of a 30-acre innovation district. The initiative featured a concert with Detroit performers and a 10-day public tour of the renovated first floor. This milestone project aimed to generate community engagement and officially introduce the revitalized landmark as a catalyst for regional innovation and Detroit's urban renewal.
Project Tasks
Create all the visual materials needed for this celebration, including signage for the opening concert and the entire 11-day Michigan Central OPEN event. Design wayfinding signage and put together a community kit with posters, stickers, and coasters that local Detroit restaurants can use to help spread the word and get the neighborhood excited about the event.
